In April 2024, Thamburu South Indian Restaurant and Bar proudly opened its doors in Abu Dhabi, marking the beginning of a flavorful journey that celebrates the rich and diverse cuisines of South India — with a special emphasis on authentic Kerala delicacies. In a short time, Thamburu has become a favorite destination for food lovers, offering a truly traditional South Indian dining experience in the heart of the UAE.
Following its success in Abu Dhabi, the second Thamburu Indian Restaurant and Bar was launched in Bur Dubai, bringing the same authenticity, warmth, and culinary excellence to Dubai’s vibrant dining scene.
Continuing the expansion, the team introduced Kalpakavadi South Indian Restaurant and Bar in Deira, Dubai. This outlet blends tradition with a contemporary dining ambiance, offering guests an authentic taste of Kerala’s culinary heritage.
The journey further extended with the opening of Thamburu Restaurant and Lounge at the Majestic Cove Hotel in Al Garhoud, a four-star property. This elegant venue offers a refined dining experience with a touch of southern hospitality, making it a standout destination for both locals and visitors.
Adding to the family, Kalpakavadi Restaurant and Bar opened its doors at the Hyde Park Hotel in Bur Dubai, offering guests another space to enjoy the signature flavors, exceptional quality, and warm service that define the Thamburu brand.
